I collaborate with a diverse array of community-based and nonprofit organizations that aim to provide education to care providers, provide health services to the community, and provide vital public health guidance to the public.

Created and presented CME courses for the division of EMS on immunology topics relevant to first responders: allergy, anaphylaxis, infectious diseases, and bioweapons.

Writes monthly column, Inside Immunity. This column will focus on fact-based discussions on topics related to biology, biotechnology, and the wellness industry. Here, you will find more granular discussions on topics that are often misrepresented or misunderstood such as cancer, immunology, immunotherapy, genetic technologies, biochemistry and chemistry, and common themes in pseudoscience and wellness including unsubstantiated medical diagnoses and tests, supplements, and more. Improved science literacy benefits individual and public health.

I developed and presented a one-hour webinar for Immunize Nevada, the state’s only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to immunizations, on the topic of COVID-19 delta variants and the infodemic of COVID-19 disinformation. The webinar was presented as part of the Nevada Immunization Learning Exchange (NILE) program whose participants include physicians, nurses, medical assistants, practice managers, and public-health personnel.

I developed and presented a one-hour webinar for NYCOSH to address commonly asked questions related to COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccines.

I worked with the Virginia Department of Health to develop simplified content–including infographics, Instagram reels, webinars, and YouTube videos–to address public-health challenges to vaccinating youth against Human papillomavirus (HPV) and preventing HPV-related cancers.

I served as an expert guest for the live radio show to discuss recent headlines related to food safety, pesticides, and GMO crops.
